2. Hosting and server log files
When this website is accessed, the hosting provider processes technically necessary connection data, in particular the requested resource, date and time, IP address, browser information and the referring page. This processing is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are the secure operation, error analysis and protection against misuse.
3. Internal privacy-friendly reach and conversion measurement
We operate our own server-side measurement in order to understand which pages, sources and campaigns are useful and where the website can be improved. The following information may be recorded: page path and title, language version, time of access, device category, browser type, operating system, browser language, referring domain, voluntarily transmitted UTM campaign parameters and interactions such as loading a player, clicking a ticket or external location link, beginning a form, requesting or confirming the Backstage Pass, and submitting a location suggestion.
No external analytics service is used. The measurement does not use analytics cookies or local storage. Complete IP addresses are not written to the analytics database. To estimate daily unique visitors, a pseudonymous identifier is generated from technical request data and a server-side secret. The identifier changes every day and is not used to recognise a visitor across days or devices.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interests are reach measurement, evaluation of PROJECT SOUNDTRACK campaigns, improvement of content and usability, and prevention of repeated counting. Raw page-view and event data is automatically deleted after 90 days. It is not combined with advertising profiles or shared with advertising networks.
You may object to this measurement for this browser at any time. A technically necessary opt-out cookie is then used solely to remember your objection for up to one year.
4. Backstage Pass
For the Backstage Pass, we process your first name, email address, the consent text and time, the IP address used for the consent record, confirmation and unsubscribe status, and the tokens required for double opt-in and unsubscribe. The legal basis for sending the emails is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Registration is activated only after confirmation by email. You may withdraw your consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in every message.
For measurement of the registration process, the source, campaign parameters, landing page, registration page and language version may be stored temporarily with a pending registration. After successful confirmation, these attribution fields are separated from the subscriber record and retained only in the anonymous conversion statistics. Unconfirmed registrations are deleted after 30 days.
5. Location suggestions and enquiries
If you submit a location suggestion, we process the information you provide, your email address and the IP address used for abuse prevention and documentation. The data is used only to process and respond to the suggestion. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and, where the enquiry aims at a contractual cooperation, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Data is deleted when it is no longer required and no statutory retention obligation applies.
6. Journey Map
The location data and markers are supplied by this website. Map tiles may be loaded from CARTO/OpenStreetMap infrastructure when the interactive map is displayed. In this process, the external provider may receive technical connection data such as the IP address. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the visual presentation of the PROJECT SOUNDTRACK locations.
7. YouTube, SoundCloud and external links
YouTube and SoundCloud players are loaded only after an active click. Until then, no player connection is established by the page. When a player or external link is opened, the respective provider processes data under its own responsibility. YouTube embeds use the privacy-enhanced domain where technically possible. Links to social networks, ticket providers and location websites also establish a connection only after you click them.
8. Cookies and storage on your device
The public website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The protected administration area and form abuse protection may use a technically necessary session cookie. If you disable internal measurement, the cookie ps_analytics_optout is stored solely to remember this decision. It does not contain an identifier and is not used for analytics.
9. Recipients and transfers
Personal data is processed by the hosting and email infrastructure used to operate the website. External services receive data only when you actively load a player or follow a link. A transfer to a third country may then occur under the responsibility of the respective provider.
10. Your rights
You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, subject to the legal requirements. You may withdraw consent with effect for the future. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority.
